I’m Louise Bastos, a Brazilian-born, Sunshine Coast-based artist with over ten years of painting experience and five years as a professional artist.

My work is rooted in nature, place and emotion, expressed through contemporary, loose brushwork and a love of colour. I’m inspired by the landscapes around me — from coastal light and tropical botanicals to the places and memories that make us feel at home.

Alongside my studio practice, I create original paintings and art prints, paint murals, and facilitate creative experiences through workshops and private classes.

Whether you’re looking for an artwork for your home, a mural to transform a space, or simply want to spend a few hours creating, I believe art has the power to connect us — to a place, a feeling, and to ourselves.
